Hopkinsville woman charged with felony theft

The Hopkinsville Police Department served an arrest warrant against a Hopkinsville woman for felony theft by unlawful taking.

According to the warrant against 58-year-old Janie Aguilar of Hopkinsville alleges she worked in complicity with three other suspects to steal property valued at nearly $33,000 from a business premises in May of this year after a writ of attachment for the property was served upon Billy Tomlinson.

There are reported multiple jail calls and video calls where Tomlinson instructs Aguilar about getting the property and what to do with it and she and other suspects were captured on video removing the property.

Aguilar is charged with felony theft by unlawful taking over $10,000 but under $1 million and lodged in the Christian County Jail.
