Arraignment held for East 18th Street murder suspect

Arraignment was held Wednesday morning in Christian Circuit Court for 65-year old Earl Guillemet of Hopkinsville, the suspect accused of fatally shooting 59-year-old Dolores Hernandez on May 3 in the 300 block of East 18th Street.

Public defender Doug Moore entered a not guilty plea on his behalf and Judge John Atkins set another hearing for August 2.

Guillemet is charged with murder, tampering with evidence and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
