Hopkinsville hires contractor for removal of downed trees and limbs from March storms

Hopkinsville Public Works has announced that beginning next week, a contractor has been hired to help with green waste removal from the March storms.

Officials say move all green waste, such as downed trees, to the road as soon as possible. Contractors will not pick up from private property and will not remove trash or construction debris.

Residents should not mix green waste with trash or construction materials because it will not be removed.
