The Lyon County Lyons saw their season come to an end Friday night in the quarterfinals of the KHSAA Sweet 16 with a 60 to 56 loss to defending State Champion George Rogers Clark. The game was close all night long as neither team led by more than 8 points. Lyon Co. led by 7 at the end of the 1st quarter 13 to 6. The Lyons were outscored 24 to 11 in the 2nd quarter and trailed 30 to 24 at the half. The Lyons trailed by 4 after 3 with both teams scoring 10 points in the 4th quarter. Travis Perry was named to the All-Tournament Team. The Lyons had 3 players in double figures. Travis Perry had 19, Brady Shoulders and Jack Reddick each had 14. The Lyons finish the season at 31 and 6 and return 4 starters next season.
