Chris Janson to headline Oak Grove Spring into Summer festival

Country music star Chris Janson has been announced as the headliner for Oak Grove’s 16th annual Spring into Summer Salutes Ft. Campbell festival on Memorial Day weekend.

Oak Grove Tourism Director Traci Cunningham made the announcement Monday, saying Janson will take the stage at the Viceroy Performing Arts Center in Oak Grove on Saturday, May 27 at 7 p.m.

Janson, a multi-platinum songwriter and artist, has had hits such as “Good Vibes,” “Buy Me A Boat,” “Done,” and “Things You Can’t Live Without.”

Cunningham says, “He’s a great entertainer and is a major supporter for our Military. We always look for someone to give our men and women the best show possible. We are more than confident that Mr. Janson will come through for us with flying colors and give our community an excellent show, and we couldn’t be more excited.”

The festival will be May 27-28 and activities will run on Saturday from 12 until 9 p.m. and Sunday May 28 from 12 p.m. until 6p.m.

There will be stage shows, the popular bubble zone and as always—free carnival rides.

Oak Grove will be thanking active-duty military with the opportunity to enter for a free basket full of prizes.

It’s all free and takes place on the grounds of the War Memorial Walking Trail Park.
