No. 22 Hilltoppers Overcome No. 21 Rice; Win Regular Season Title
The No. 22 WKU Hilltopper Volleyball team hosted the 21-ranked Rice Owls for Senior Night on Thursday in Diddle Arena, defeating the Owls in a thrilling 3-2 match up to claim the Conference USA regular season title for the fourth year in a row. Lauren Matthews had a career and historic day going for a career-high 30 kills and 13 blocks for a double double. Her 13 blocks ties the single-match record for WKU Volleyball.
Match Against UIC Rescheduled at Neutral Site
Murray State volleyball’s conference match against UIC from Friday, Nov. 4, that could not be played due to a campus-wide and surrounding area power outage has been rescheduled for Sunday, Nov. 13. It will be played on the campus of Indiana State University in Terre Haute, Ind., with a confirmed start time of 1:00pm ET.
