Suspect in Marathon robbery arraigned

Arraignment was held Wednesday morning in Christian Circuit Court for the man accused of robbing the North Main Street Marathon gas station in March. The Christian County Public School system’s first day of school is quickly approaching and a lot of preparation has been and will be done for the district to be ready. Logan Co. SO seizes 100 dogs in animal cruelty investigation

Roughly 100 canines have been seized from a Logan County home as part of an ongoing animal cruelty and neglect investigation. According to a news release from the Logan County Sheriff’s Department, a search warrant was executed at a residence on Milton Sharpe Road belonging to Perry Shifflet in reference to numerous tips about animal neglect. Legendary broadcaster Vin Scully dead at 94

Legendary baseball announcer Vin Scully is dead at the age of 94. The Los Angeles Dodgers announced the news on Twitter Tuesday night.  Scully's broadcasting career spanned nearly 70 years and he became one of the sport's most iconic voices. The Yankees continue to make improvements to their outfield. New York has acquired outfielder Harrison Bader from the St. Louis Cardinals in exchange for left-handed pitcher Jordan Montgomery. Kentucky, Gonzaga to play home and home series

Two of the powerhouses in college basketball are meeting over the next couple seasons. Kentucky and Gonzaga have agreed to a home-and-home series starting this fall. The Wildcats will visit the Bulldogs on November 20th and then host Gonzaga in 2023.  The announcement was made during Kentucky's open practice yesterday. The two programs have only played each other once and it came during the 2002 Maui Invitational.
