The Christian County Public School system’s first day of school is quickly approaching and a lot of preparation has been and will be done for the district to be ready.
Superintendent Chris Bentzel says open house events at the elementary schools were well attended by families Tuesday night.
Almost all schools are now fully staffed with teachers and the bus garage is also ready to go.
Teachers and administrators have been meeting the last few weeks preparing for students to arrive.
The first day of school in Christian County is Wednesday, August 10.
