Kentucky State Police are investigating an officer-involved shooting near Cave City in Barren County.
It happened about 4:30 a.m. and a news release from KSP says they were requested to investigate by the Barren County Sheriff’s Department. A suspect was pronounced dead at the scene by the Barren County Coroner’s Office and an autopsy was scheduled at the Medical Examiner’s Office in Louisville.
No officers or members of the community were injured in the incident and names of those involved have not been released.
