After two weeks of rather volatile weather, this week’s forecast is looking pleasantly mundane.
A cool and dry start to the week will transition to a minor rain event Wednesday night and while a few rumbles of thunder will be possible, National Weather Service in Paducah Meteorologist Dan Spaeth says there doesn’t appear to be any threat of severe weather.
High temperatures will be near or a little above normal Thursday and Friday and there is a chance of showers Sunday.
Spaeth says the early forecast for next week shows normal precipitation and temperatures.
High temperatures for this time of the year are in the lower 70’s.
