WKU gets QB commit from D-2’s West Florida

The Bowling Green Daily News reports Western Kentucky has gotten a commitment from quarterback Austin Reed, a transfer from Division Two’s West Florida. In two seasons there, Reed went 22-3 as the starter and led the program to two NCAA playoff appearances, winning a D-Two national title in 2019 and a share of the 2021 Gulf South Conference championship. He had 7,507 yards passing and 78 passing touchdowns while with the Argonauts.
