Murray State’s KJ Williams has been selected as the Ohio Valley Conference Player of the Week. Williams had 30 points against Belmont and 23 points against Southeast Missouri on Saturday. Murray State will begin play in the semifinals of the OVC Tournament Friday night at the Ford Center in Evansville.
Austin Peay players were also honored by the OVC this week. Caleb Stone-Carrawell was named Co-Newcomer of the Week and Elijah Hutchins-Everett was named Freshman of the Week. The Governors begin play Wednesday night against Tennessee Tech.
