COVID hospitalizations up from last week at Jennie Stuart

COVID hospitalizations have increased from a week ago at Jennie Stuart Medical Center as omicron spreads rapidly across Kentucky.

Hospital spokesman Chris Jung says 23 COVID patients were hospitalized Wednesday morning, seven were in the ICU and three were on a ventilator.

Only six of the hospitalized COVID patients were fully-vaccinated.

There were 19 COVID patients in Jennie Stuart one week ago.
