Murray State’s women picked up a 74-50 win at Mississippi Valley State today. Katelyn Young led the Racers with 23 points as they improved to 4-1 on the season. Murray State will return to action Saturday afternoon at 1 hosting Alabama A&M.
While we’re on the subject of Racers women’s basketball, Macey Turley was named the Ohio Valley Conference Player of the Week today. The senior averaged 24 points in two wins last week-including a season high 30 points against Cumberlands.
