Oak Grove man arrested on murder-related charges

Oak Grove police worked with the U.S. Marshals and Christian County Sheriff’s Office recently to arrest a fugitive wanted for murder-related charges.

Police served a federal fugitive warrant against 39-year old Warren Broomer of Oak Grove for first-degree murder in perpetration, criminal attempted first-degree murder, aggravated kidnapping and burglary.

No details are given on the alleged crimes, but the charges originated in Montgomery County, Tennessee.

A search warrant was then obtained for a home on Angel Court and police say they found drugs and drug paraphernalia.

Broomer and 35-year old Ebony Hawkins of Clarksville were each charged with numerous counts of trafficking in controlled substance.
