The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet says concrete rehabilitation repairs have begun on the westbound lanes of I-24 in Christian County.
A permanent lane restriction will be in place while this work is addressed between the 90 and 92 mile-markers. Motorists should anticipate slow moving traffic and the speed limit will be posted at 55 mph in the work zone.
Crews will be on-site to address the repairs from 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. each day.
Transportation Cabinet officials ask motorists to be aware of the work zone, be prepared for delays, and exercise safe driving habits when traveling through the area.
Drivers should expect delays and are encouraged to allow extra time in reaching their destination.
