Todd County traffic stop ends with meth trafficking arrest

A traffic stop on US 68 in Todd County Thursday night led to the arrest of the driver on drug trafficking charges.

Deputy Jonathan Knight stopped 36-year old Gilbert Brown of Bowling Green for an equipment violation and an arrest citation says an odor of marijuana was coming from his vehicle. A computer check showed his license was suspended and a search of the automobile allegedly revealed multiple bags of methamphetamine, marijuana, drug paraphernalia and a large amount of cash.

Brown was arrested and charged with trafficking in methamphetamine, trafficking in marijuana, driving on a DUI suspended license and possession of drug paraphernalia.
