Elkton man on stolen motorcycle arrested after pursuit

An Elkton man was arrested for possessing a stolen motorcycle following a pursuit Tuesday afternoon.

Christian County Sheriff’s Sgt. John Quarles attempted to stop 32-year old Joshua Michael Justice of Elkton for operating without a license plate on his motorcycle on Russellville Road, but Justice allegedly laid his bike down and fled on foot following a short pursuit.

He was soon caught and a computer check showed the 2017 Yamaha was reported stolen out of Paducah.

Justice was arrested and charged with two counts of fleeing or evading police, receiving stolen property, reckless driving, speeding and other offense related to the pursuit.
