CCHD reports four new COVID deaths, 439 new cases

The Christian County Health Department is reporting four new COVID-19 deaths locally, along with 439 new cases.

According to a news release, the new four deaths are a 69-year-old Caucasian male, a 44-year-old Hispanic male, an 84-year-old Caucasian female and an 80-year-old Caucasian male, all of whom were unvaccinated.  All but the 44-year-old victim reportedly had underlying conditions.

The 439 new cases puts the overall total locally at 9,672—of that, 726 cases are considered active and 8,828 people have recovered from the virus.

Christian County has now had 118 COVID-19 related deaths.
