ESPN reports Chicago Bears Coach Matt Nagy announced today quarterback Justin Fields will get the start in the preseason finale against the Tennessee Titans Saturday night in Nashville. Fields will play roughly two quarters. Meanwhile, the Bears also announced Andy Dalton will be the starting quarterback in the season opener against the Los Angeles Rams September 12th. He will not play against the Titans Saturday night.
It appears the Atlanta Falcons are about to sign former top 10 draft choice Josh Rosen to serve as Matt Ryan’s backup at quarterback. Rosen was recently waived by the San Francisco 49ers. He would replace AJ McCarron, who was lost for the season due to a torn ACL suffered in a preseason game on Saturday.
