Princeton man arrested in Hopkinsville for fifth DUI, second in two weeks

A Princeton man was arrested for his fifth DUI in Hopkinsville Friday night and it was his second DUI in two weeks.

Hopkinsville police received a report of a man possibly being intoxicated behind the wheel and made a traffic stop on the vehicle about 11:30 p.m. Friday at East Seventh and Brown Street.

An arrest citation for 31-year-old Robert Baker of Princeton says there was an odor of alcohol coming from his person, he showed signs of being intoxicated, admitted to drinking, and he refused field sobriety tests.

He was arrested and charged with DUI (fourth or more offense) and driving on a DUI suspended license.

As previously reported, Princeton police arrested Baker July 16 and charged him with is fourth DUI.

He remains lodged in the Christian County Jail on a $2,500 bond, according to the jail website.
