Mississippi State wins, Tennessee loses Sunday at College World Series

In Sunday action at the College World Series, Mississippi State edged Texas 2-1. Former UHA standout Drew McGowan did not play in the contest. The other Sunday game saw Virginia blank Tennessee 6-0.

Today’s action includes Vanderbilt facing NC State at 6 pm this evening after Stanford and Arizona play an elimination game at 1 this afternoon. Tennessee will play Texas in an elimination game Tuesday at 1 pm with Mississippi State to face Virginia at 6 pm.
