The City of Hopkinsville is hiring a new events and marketing coordinator after it was announced this week that Chris Jung is leaving to become director of marketing and community relations at Jennie Stuart.
The city position is housed at the Sportsplex through Parks and Recreation and Superintendent Tab Brockman says it’s posted on the city website.
It will likely take a month to six weeks before Jung’s replacement is named, according to Brockman.
He says the Sportsplex will be busy this weekend, as will Trail of Tears Park’s disc golf course.
