A man was arrested on a burglary charge Thursday in Calloway County following an early-morning burglary.
Calloway County deputies responded to a burglary in progress in the 500 block of Geurin Road and located the suspect—29-year old William Elliott of Murray—walking along Beane Road.
He was arrested and further investigation found evidence from an earlier burglary inside his vehicle that was found on Geurin Road.
Elliott is charged with third-degree burglary, attempted second-degree burglary and third-degree criminal mischief.
