One injured in I-24 accident Tuesday morning

One person was hurt in a two-vehicle accident Tuesday morning on I-24 in Christian County.

It happened a little before 8 a.m. and Christian County Sheriff’s Deputy Chris Miller says Kris Torbenson of Hopkinsville was merging onto I-24 from Fort Campbell Boulevard and pulled in front of an eastbound semi.

The driver was not able to stop and rear-ended Torbenson’s car.

Torbenson complained of back injuries and was taken by EMS to Tennova Health Hospital in Clarksville.
