Hopkinsville police are investigating a shooting incident from Monday night.
Forty-six-year-old Michael Henderson went to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for treatment of a gunshot wound a few minutes before 8 p.m.
He told police he had been walking somewhere on East 18th or 19th Street when he was robbed of jewelry by two males wearing dark clothing and one of the suspects shot him in the back, according to Sgt. Martin Lopez, who says Henderson left Jennie Stuart against medical advice following treatment.
