Murray State’s Young wins OVC Freshman weekly honors for a third time

For the third straight week, Murray State’s Katelyn Young was named the Ohio Valley Conference Freshman of the Week today. Young had 20 points and five rebounds in last week’s win over Mississippi Valley State. She’s the second freshman in either men’s or women’s history to win the award three times in the same season. Murray State is back in action Saturday in its OVC opener at Austin Peay. Tipoff is at 2 pm.
