KSP: Trigg woman was killed before fire that destroyed home

Kentucky State Police say foul play led to the death of the woman found inside a burned house Thursday morning on Will Jackson Road in Trigg County.

An autopsy was conducted Friday morning and led to the victim being positively identified as 81-year old Thelma Barnett of Cadiz.

KSP says the medical examiner determined Barnett died as a result of foul play and it was believe the fire that destroyed her home was intentionally set after her death.
