Jon Rahm sank a 66-foot putt to defeat Dustin Johnson on the first playoff hole to win the PGA Tour’s BMW Championship at Olympia Fields. Johnson made a 45-foot birdie putt on the 18th hole to force the playoff. Rahm’s 64 was the lowest round of the tournament, finishing a four-under 276. Only five players finished the four rounds under par. Louisville area native Justin Thomas tied for 25th at six over par. The Tour Championship, the final PGA Tour event of the season, begins Thursday in Atlanta.
