Local man injured in crash near Fairview

Heavy rain was a factor in a single-vehicle accident Saturday morning on US 68 near Fairview.

The report from the Christian County Sheriff’s Office says 24-year old Anthony Manning of Hopkinsville was eastbound when he hydroplaned. His car went off the right side of the road and struck a rock wall, causing injuries that sent Manning by EMS to Jennie Stuart Medical Center.

The crash happened near Vaughns Grove Little River Road.
