There are coaches and athletic administrators in the Power Five conferences who are not confident there will be a college football season. One Power Five coach was quoted in a Yahoo Sports.com story as saying he hopes he’s wrong, but he thinks the season being canceled is a foregone conclusion. He added he cringes when he hears administrators saying that the health and safety of the student-athletes is first and foremost. He also stated it’s not. If it was, the season would already be cancelled.
