A passenger was injured after a U-Haul box truck struck the top of a tunnel Saturday afternoon in Madisonville.
Sixty-eight-year-old Charles Adkins of Independence, Missouri was northbound on North Kentucky Avenue when he misjudged the clearance at the CSX south tunnel and struck the top, according to Madisonville police.
His passenger, 66-year old Vicky Adkins of Independence, Missouri, was taken by EMS to Baptist Health Hospital for treatment of possible injuries.
