A traffic stop by the Christian County Sheriff’s Office Tuesday night on College Street resulted in the arrest of a man for trafficking in methamphetamine.

A deputy stopped a vehicle driven by 30-year old Wesley Houchens of Hopkinsville on College Street for an inoperable brake light.

An arrest citation says further investigation determined Houchens to be in possession of a handgun, methamphetamine, two scales and a syringe.
