Todd County teens injured in accident

Two young Todd County residents were ejected during a single-vehicle accident Friday evening.

Todd County Sheriff’s Deputy Mitch Frazier investigated and determined 18-year old Madison Murrey of Guthrie was westbound on Elkton-Trenton Road when her car went off the right side of the pavement and overturned several times.

Murrey and her passenger, 18-year old Caitlin Cumbee of Elkton, were both ejected. Murrey was flown by helicopter to a Nashville hospital and Cumbee was taken by EMS to Tennova Health Hospital in Clarksville.
