KSP investigating Central City fatal house fire

Kentucky State Police are investigating a fatal house fire that occurred early Thursday morning in Central City.

According to a news release, troopers responded to Park Street in Central City in reference to fatal house fire that happened around 4 a.m. Investigators discovered 30-year old Brittany Michelle Dukes was inside the residence when the fire began.

She was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Muhlenberg County Coroner’s Office.  The investigation is ongoing.
