Hopeful Nashville Stars team announces logo

The Tennessean reports the group wanting to bring major league baseball to Nashville has filed to trademark a logo. John Loar-who heads the group Music City Baseball LLC-recently filed an application for the logo which features three red stars. The team-to be known as the Nashville Stars-is using a logo similar to one used by the Negro League team that played in the Music City in the 1940’s and 50’s.
