Former PGA Tour commissioner Tim Finchem has been elected to the World Golf Hall of Fame through the contributor category. Finchem was commissioner from 1994-2016 and took advantage of Tiger Woods’ popularity to negotiate television contracts that spiked prize money from under $100 million to more than $400 million during his tenure. Woods has already been elected to the 2021 class of the World Golf Hall of Fame.
