Winter sports senior athletes won’t likely get extra year

According to reports, it’s unlikely the NCAA will grant an extra year of eligibility to athletes in winter sports whose seasons were cut short due to the coronavirus. This includes Louisville, Kentucky and Memphis basketball players who were unable to complete their conference tournaments or compete in the NCAA Tournament. Student-athletes in spring sports may still be offered the extra year.
