Golf Channel reports the PGA Tour’s Florida Swing schedule will be a little different in 2021. Officials with The Honda Classic announced Sunday the event will be staged March 18-21 at PGA National following The Players Championship at TPC Sawgrass. The Arnold Palmer Invitational at Bay Hill in Orlando will be the first event on the 2021 Florida Swing.
Golfweek reports American Dustin Johnson will skip the Tokyo Olympics. Johnson’s agent David Winkle cited the condensed PGA Tour schedule and Johnson’s desire to be prepared for the FedEx Cup playoffs, which begin a short time after the Olympics, as his reasons for skipping the Games. Johnson was in line to be one of four Americans eligible for the 60 player tournament that begins July 30th.
