HPD investigating robbery from Friday

Hopkinsville police are investigating a robbery from Friday afternoon on Williams Street.

A 48-year old woman told officers a suspect hit her on the back of the head and took her cell phone, according to the robbery report filed in the 100 block of Williams about 5:45 p.m. Friday.

The suspect and victim knew each other, according to police.
