A head-on collision involving a motorcycle Saturday morning in Logan County sent the biker to a Nashville hospital.
A news release from the Logan County Sheriff’s Department says 34-year old Joseph Owens of Russellville was southbound on Nashville Road when he crossed the center line in a curve and struck a northbound pickup driven by 58-year old Jerry Robertson of Adairville.
Robertson told deputies he got over as far as he could, but he was unable to avoid a collision.
The motorcycle overturned into a ditch and Owens was transported to Skyline Medical Center in Nashville for treatment of injuries.
