The Pennyrile Narcotics Task Force charged a man with multiple drug counts following an investigation in Lyon County.
According to a news release, detectives with the task force—along with the Lyon County Sheriff’s Department and Eddyville Police Department—conducted a buy operation where 28-year old Deryant Williams allegedly sold methamphetamine to a confidential informant.
Williams was taken into custody and a search allegedly revealed additional meth, marijuana and digital scales in his possession. He was charged with trafficking in methamphetamine, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
