Hopkinsville man charged with felony identity theft in Clarksville

A Hopkinsville man is charged with felony identity theft in Tennessee.

Hopkinsville police arrested 36-year old Brandon Herring at the Walmart Supercenter Wednesday afternoon after he allegedly violated a trespass warning to stay away from the store that was issued to him in May following a previous incident.

A computer check showed Herring was wanted by the Clarksville Police Department for four counts of felony identity theft.

Clarksville police confirmed they would extradite Herring.

He’s also facing a local charge of second-degree criminal trespassing as he is held as a fugitive from another state.
