Local woman charged with having stolen vehicle

The Christian County Sheriff’s Department arrested for having a stolen vehicle Friday.

According to a police report, a vehicle matching the description and tag of one reported stolen in June was seen traveling down West Seventh and pulling into the Dollar General Store parking lot. The vehicle was reportedly driven by 33-year old Cassie Billings of Hopkinsville, who was the suspect also listed on the theft report.

Billings was arrested and charged with felony receiving stolen property over $10,000.
