Online registration open for CCPS students, JumpStart program available

Online registration is available for parents of students in the Christian County School System and the JumpStart program for incoming seventh and ninth graders is coming up again.

Parents and guardians can go online to christian dot ky-schools dot u-s and register their students. Lists of school supplies can be found on each school’s website from there or they can be picked up at the Christian County Board of Education. Register by August 1 to sign up for open houses.

A list of locations, dates and times for the school system’s summer feeding program is also available on the district’s websites, with many still continuing into July to provide students with meals throughout the summer.

All incoming seventh and ninth graders can also register for the Jumpstart program, which is designed to make the transition between schools and grades easier. They will be able to meet their teachers, find their lockers, take tours of the schools and learn about different extracurricular activities.

The dates for JumpStart are July 29 at Hopkinsville High School and Hopkinsville Middle School, and then August 1 at Christian County Middle School.

The first day of school for Christian County students is August 7.
