Hopkinsville man arrested following high-speed pursuit

A Hopkinsville man was arrested on multiple charges following a high-speed pursuit Friday night in Logan County.

Logan County Sheriff’s Captain Clint Wright attempted to stop 20-year old Dekorian Daniel of Hopkinsville for traveling 105 mph on US 68, according to a news release, which says Daniel continued eastbound for another 10 miles before eventually stopping at Champion Pet Food in Auburn.

Daniel was arrested and charged with fleeing or evading police, seven counts of first-degree wanton endangerment, reckless driving, speeding and disregarding a traffic control device.
