No injuries reported after press catches fire at Grupo

An equipment fire at Grupo on Commerce Court Tuesday morning briefly caused the evacuation of the building, but there were no injuries.

Hopkinsville firefighters were called to the facility at about 11:15 a.m. and Captain Michael Pendelton says Grupo personnel had already extinguished the fire in a press by the time they arrived.

The fire was contained to the one piece of equipment and there were no reports of injuries.
