Cincinnati Reds second baseman Scooter Gennett is expected to be out eight-to-12 weeks with a torn right groin. Gennett had to be helped from the field Friday and a MRI the next day revealed the seriousness of the injury. Manager David Bell said shortstop Jose Peraza will move to second base, while backup infielder Jose Iglesias will start at shortstop.
