Memphis defeated Western Kentucky 9-6 on Thursday in Bowling Green. The teams are scheduled to play the second game of the series this afternoon, weather permitting.

Due to weather concerns, the Ohio Valley Conference opening series between Murray State and Austin Peay to be played at Reagan Field will begin Saturday and end Monday. Game times for the series games on Saturday and Monday have yet to be announced, but the Sunday game will begin at 1 pm.
