Details have been released on a rear-end collision from Thursday morning on Pembroke Road that injured a local woman.
The report from Hopkinsville Police Officer Jamie Gapp says 54-year old Lisa Walker of Hopkinsville slowed and merged into the left lane to avoid a disabled vehicle that was being pushed out of the roadway near Cayce Mill Supply just after 6 a.m.
It was then she was rear-ended by a southbound pickup driven by 40-year old James Major of Hopkinsville.
Walker was taken by EMS to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. Major was not injured.
